Wild Idaho Loop

Team UltraPedestrian is back in the wild heart of Idaho to redeem themselves with the Wild Idaho Loop!

A map of the route can be found HERE. You can track their progress via their InReach satellite tracking page HERE. They will also be posting regular updates to the Team UltraPedestrian Facebook Page.

The Wild Idaho Loop is a roughly 550 mile route through some of the most remote Wilderness in the lower 48 states. The route links together the main Idaho Centennial Trail with the West Alternate of the Idaho Centennial Trail, the exception being the Gospel Hump Wilderness Alternate, which traverses even less-traveled ground.

In 2018, during the UP North Loop, Ras & Kathy were forced by encroaching winter weather and resupply issues to route around the Selway Bitterroot and Frank Church/River Of No Return Wildernesses, which had been intended as the crown jewel of the UP North Loop. Now they are back to immerse themselves in this vast wilderness.
